Thank you so very much!

I just had listed the hospitals for which I am putting together support to a nurse who had worked with me, now working at Ann Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, and planning to "adopt" hospitals in each area where I am working, gathering the "disposable" gowns and other excess equipment that is unaffordable in each hospital.  I gave the names and addresses and plan to accrue pictures of each for you and for her.

Yes, the Tso Morari Clinic is separate, and about four days trek away from the clinic we will be running in Leh.  it is also even higher by another 1,000 meters, which makes the oxygen tension such a critical element.  Tso Morari, in fact, is a saline lake since there is no outlet and is either the highest lake in the world or among the highest.  I had listed the details of Hook's Law as it applies to the solubility of gas in water (and blood) in an essay written while there on the shores last year after doing our clinics there, and I will attach that set of notes.

I cannot tell you now how grateful I am for your help, but will respond when I have the reports of what a difference you have made in each of the venues in which I am working.  you will get a full report following Dharamsala and the Ladakh/Tso Morari  mission!

I will be "on the run" on April 16, but the UPS delivery man will know where to leave the precious device at my home.  April 16 is celebrated throughout New England as "Patriot's Day"‑‑but for me, for at least the last eleven years running, it is also the Boston  Marathon Day and I will be doing the 105th as my 11th Boston and my 61st marathon overall.

Thanks again, on behalf of the poor people who need your product and would not have it without your generosity.  This is exemplary corporate global citizenship I would like to use as an example when I am presenting the plenary session on volunteer surgical service in the third world at the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons in New Orleans on October 10.   I will be traveling directly to the ACS  from Namche Bazaar, Nepal on October 9, following a ten day medical mission in Lukla Nepal along the Everest trek‑route to which I will be returning‑‑another area of rarified air for our patients to be breathing!
