Thank you!

I had mentioned to you the Lady Willingdon Hospital in Manali, Himachal, India under the direction of Doctors Laji and Seila Varghese as the appropriate first target for your proposal. This is my choice for the subcontinent of Asia representative.
I also recommend the CME (Centre medical Evangelique) in Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of Congo under the direction of Dr. Alberto Ahuka Longombe.  This would be my choice for the African recipient.

The Baptist Mission Hospital in Malaybalay Mindanao Philippines would be my choice for the Pacific representative, under the direction of Dr. Allen Melicor.
I have worked closely with each, and will be returning to visit and work in each within the coming year..

Let me know how I can help further, and we will establish these links.

Cheers!

Hi Glenn,

I talked to my supervisor about the idea of adopting a hospital or orphanage over seas and she told me that if I write up a proposal about what it is that I really want to do and how Anne Arundel Med. Ctr can help, then she'll present it at her next hospital operations meeting!  She said we can either make it hospital wide support, or if that doesn't fly, then maybe we could do it as a Women's and Children's Services project.  I haven't written a proposal since grad school, I'll have to figure out how to write a good one.
My question to you is, which hospital or orphanage do you think needs the most support?  I'd like a place where you have involvement or contacts, and I'll need information about them to back up my proposal.  I really think we could go somewhere with this.I'm slowly pilfering waterproof surgical gowns for you that wash alot better than the yellow paper gowns.  I can't get over re‑using those "handi‑wipes" until they're in shreds!  I also have adult sized surgical equipment coming to me from distribution that my friend from interventional radiology has tagged for me.  I'll try to make another delivery before you go on your next trip if I can get it to you in time.

Talk to you soon,

Chona
