THE LAUNCH OF SUMMER  WITH THE FORWARDING OF THE JUN‑A‑SERIES

Here comes the Jun‑A‑series‑‑centered around Denver and Steamboat Springs and events closer to home‑‑for example, among the fawning population of my deer neighbors in Derwood!

Meanwhile, my literary efforts are languishing for the already‑written adventure travels and past due for the editorials, chapters, and books for the professional world, (as, in one example, attached), all of which should be addressed before I disappear into the Himalayas in the Kingdom of the Clouds, Ladakh, next month.  That trip is now extended, so that I will be spending the additional first week of August in Tibetan Lingshed, a remote place to be reached by chartered helicopter, in an area seldom if ever seen by westerners

These adventures seem to be attracting the interest of not only medical journals (see AAMC of Jun‑A‑9 and the ACS for the October Clinical Congress in New Orleans) but also the premier adventure journal, the NGS (see Jun‑A‑8)  And the plans for a return to both Mindanao and Southern Africa (see Jun‑A‑5) are made for early 2002, followed later by six Himalayan excursions to include Sikkim and Bhutan.

My immediate plans are to attempt and survive the Big Horn Ultra, according to the schedule posted for next week in Jun‑A‑6, which will include two stops in San Antonio‑‑an antepartum visit to Michael and Judy, before the two of them become the four of them.

Hear comes summer‑‑‑enjoy it all!

Cheers!
