- Index to the October A Series
- Aloft on my way home via DEL, FRA and IAH to get back home-somehow-with
a plan to continue as the last still-closed airport-DCA--reopens.
- A fortuitous "hang-up" in Houston, gets me on the road in a rental
Chrysler Concorde for the 200 miles to San Antonio and a very much anticipated
meeting with two newcomers to celebrate their three months' birthday the day
before their father's 32nd birthday---Devin Michael and Jordan Lee Geelhoed!
- The return to Washington and Derwood, after the unexpected added venue
of San Antonio was worked in for the climax of a very eventful trip, with
terror at Twin Towers headlining the start, and twin grandsons climaxing the
happy finish!
