Thank you ever so much!

Any donation you can supply is better than the vacuum in which we work, and each elevates the standard of care tremendously.

I had just cited Nonin as an example of good corporate citizenship in a presentation made to and on behalf of my own Universtiy Medical Center CEO, Dr. John H. Williams, himself an anesthesiologist and frequent participant in Operation Smile abroad.  I relay his thanks.

I very much appreciate these donations on behalf of the recipients, who remain among the poorst and neediest of the world's citizens.

I hope that you recieved a few of the photographs I had forwarded of the devices in the hands of the teams who are now using them.

Thank you once again!

Dear Dr. Geelhoed,

I wanted to contact you to let you know I have 1 pulse oximeter for each of your first 2 trips in the new year, I will send them together at this time. You may wish to take both on the first trip and only leave the one. I will also need to know what power requirement you will need. The one pulse oximeter is a model 8604D‑L similiar to one we sent last year it has a rechargeable battery pack. Some of the wording on the front panel is in German, but it is only a couple of words. The other oximeter is called the 9500. I think you'll like it for it's portability, but it can not be used on infants. The finger thickness must be 3/10" to get accurate readings and the child needs to be cooperative enough to not curl or move their finger during the readings. Usually toddlers will be ok. If either of these units do not sound appropriate please let me know. Unfortunatly business is less prosperous at this time and this may affect my being able to continue to find donation units for later in the year, but we will keep your trips listed and hopefully the industry will recover quickly as the new year unfolds.

Best Regards,

Wendy Kroll
