Dr. Glenn,

Here are the answers.

1) I can have your bag delivered where ever you would like it. I can pick

it up from Hem and bring it to Dhramsala.

We will not be going to Triund but Barot ( North East of Sherabling but

almost as high as Billings, where we all drove up last year) and there will

be an option to camp out and we can probably squeeze in a day trek. Yes,

you can load it up and I'll have transported back to Shimla so it will be

available for our trips to Spiti and Ladakh.

2) Yes, Sikkim is off for 2002.  I would like to reschedule Panamik on the

following dates: Oct 6th thru Oct 20 , if you can block the time period

that will be great. I read in your October schedule that you need to be

back on October 20th so I can make arrangements for you to get back on the

18th or 19th and I'll see the team off.

I am trying to work it out and will fill you in with details when I see

you in the next couple of weeks as of now just the dates have to changed on

the itinerary. As for 2003, lets go over the dates once again. I am working

on two locations BHUTAN and SIKKIM and that really needs a lot of work to

make it work properly. The problem I face is that the timing may clash with

our already planned regions of Ladakh. I am planning on trips which will be

a little longer and almost every month starting April, May, June, July,

August, September and October. So that will make it seven for 2003. I will

be working on the schedules and then discuss it with you. We will cover the

regions of Spiti (1), Ladakh ( 3 trips) Sikkim (1) Bhutan (1), Nepal (1). I

may drop Dharamsala next year because it has been a pain to put together

and not enough sign ups and same with trips in September.

3) Your earliest return will be on the 20th of May because if you do the

whole trek then we cannot cut it short by a day, at least that's how it

looks right now. This will make your return back in Washington on the

afternoon of May 20.  I have asked for extra baggage permission for travel

packs from Lufthansa and that will not be a problem.

Its good to know Mat and Carla are doing the power presentation. We are

going to have a full team for the Ladakh‑Chang Thang and may be able to

pick up just a couple more people but if these people can be signed up for

Lingshed and Panamik in October that will help tremendously.

Please let me know what you think about it.
