A VERY
DIFFERENT MAR-B-SERIES THAN
THE CUBAN ONE THAT HAD BEEN PLANNED EARLIER
- Index to the Mar-B-series
- All packed up and no place to
go: Marazul Travel Agency’s incompetence cost me

- With deepest regrets, I explain
to IHMEC how it is that I am not in Cuba on the
basis of the failure of Marazul to deliver tickets
and documents as promised.

birthday.
- My correspondence with Don Graham,
Chairman of the Board of the Washington Post after

for their life-saving drugs included in the MAP
packs I had intended to carry to Nepal, but were
diverted by 9/11 to Malawi.
- My letter to Nonin, thanking them
for the pulse oximeters which have been distributed
in mission hospitals for life-saving results in
their effective use.
- My response to a wilderness acquisition
of a deer tick and its management.
- In my unexpected week at home,
I have an unanticipated evening with the rich and
famous in a black tie awards dinner that finds me
chatting with an unusual group of people, many of
whom are household names and quite recognizable
from cover stories about them in largely recent
past power positions.

of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine connections.

the level of selected “gap girls” for our medical
missions in India.
