Wonderful to hear from you!  I have heard about you and have been looking forward to getting to know you!  There is probably no better way to do that than during the long hard and desperately beautiful Zanskar Range Trek.  You will love it!

Yes, you can get the brief Biosketch (attached) or the full CV right off the Home page http://home.gwu.edu/~gwg  Better yet, plug into the "On- Line Journal" and read about the several trips into Ladakh each year, including the Lingshed Trek you will be taking- - at about the same time in August last year.

If you need more than what is available herewith for your Program Director, let him contact me at the numbers attached!

Cheers!

Hi Dr. Geelhoed,

My friend (Nikki Feeney) and I are going on the Himalayan Health Exchange trip to Lingshed in July.  We are both 3rd year residents in the Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program at the University of Rochester.  The trip will no doubt be an incredible addition to our training, and we are VERY excited about going!!

In order for the trip to count as an elective month / away rotation for us, our program director requires a C.V. from the physician leading the trip.  Carolyn sent me your e- mail as the appropriate contact.  Whenever you get a chance, if you could either e- mail or snail- mail your C.V. to me, that would be great.  (Please disregard this note if Nikki has just e- mailed you with the same request.)

Did a quick Google search with your name and realized that you have done numerous medical trips all over the world.  So glad to know someone with such experience will be leading the group.

Look forward to meeting you soon!

Thanks,

:)  Yokko Tamura
