RE-ENTRY FROM 2003’S FINAL FOREGN MEDICAL MISSION,

AND THE BEGINNING OF FALL MARATHON SEASON

  2. Re-Entry and see the progress in the Derwood renovation—the addition and the remodeling of even the woods as I come back to see Derwood and DC and GWU.
  3. Message in response to Shirl’s news,  of deaths and marathons, and regarding current status of Derwood.
  4. The Marine Corps Marathon-28:  I am on my way toward becoming one of the senior citizen veterans of the largest marathon in the world not to be offering prize money and almost a “Ground Pounder”
  5. Post-marathon, pre-Texas, in a welter of activity from DC licensing board, to REI Antarctica, to Derwood in a fast flurry of completion of woods and house addition remodeling.
  6. San Antonio visit: Trick or Treating with very verbal little men who are also named Geelhoed, and hearing of Michael’s transition to the full time faculty of the UTHSCSA.
  7. The email correspondence with Michael by which we arrange the run on the bratwurst festival week for the “Wurst Five Mile Run” in New Brunfels, Texas on Saturday November 1, 2003.
