I am responding to you by a rather long shot email chance from teh Central Plateau of Haiti. I will be leading a group of GWU medical and MPH students on a medical relief mission here for teh next ten days, returning the day you come to GWU to interview.
You might check with Anthony Copollino, and I have also recently corresponded with Bill Magee about the horn of Africa. I have shown him the pictures of teh facilities and patinst I have revviewd for a possible Op Smile mission in the Horn of AFrica, including Somaliland and Ethiopia and especially the facilites of Gondar Medical College which I had prepared for him. My name is Frank Valone and I serve as the mission
coordinator for Operation Smile's efforts in the Middle East and Africa.
Hence, I will be working towards potentially entering Ethiopia as one of
our mission countries. I regret when you were last in Norfolk I was in
fact in Kenya on an assessment trip however I would definitely like to
speak to you regarding your experience and knowledge of running a
successful mission in Ethiopia. Today I left you a voice message and I
am always available at the below numbers. However, I am also extremely
interested in George Washington Medical School and have a meeting with
Dr. McGrath on Monday August 2 at 2PM. If you have any time on that same
day I would greatly appreciate your insight into Ethiopia and George
