MARCH COMES IN LIKE A LAMB, AS THE INDEX TO THE FIRST MARCH SERIES BEGINS

  2. March comes in like a lamb: even the spring peepers are heard around Derwood, as I try to start back to running and cleaning up details at Derwood, and making further plans.
  3. A response to my recent lecture to the Tropical Medicine class on “Tropical Surgery”.
  4. The acceptance into the ELDP program and the schedule of obligated time for the next year.
  5. The events of the weekend with the unfinished details of a “pre-punch out walk-through” at Derwood, and a rendezvous with the Harkens in Lansdowne Resort near Ashburn Virginia.
  6. Responses to my “Tropical Surgery“ lecture.
  7. An anniversary note, twenty eight years after transplantation.
  8. A note of encouragement to another surgeon seeking Globabl Health opportunities.
  9. Prepping the next generation of Somaliland health care volunteers from GWUMC.
  10. A series of pre-completion Derwood visitors come to appreciate the progress as some final plans are made before my departure through Tahoe to the Far East.
  11. A long day of Derwood developments, and a closure in my attorney’s office to join the world of mortgage holders, as I clear away details in leaving for the  Far East.
  12. A return engagement, as requested by the president of the Washington Society for Tropical Medicine—only a quarter century after my first appearance before this group on the Eve of my departure to the West Coast and Far East.
