RE-ENTRY AFTER A MONTH’S ABSENCE IN EUROPE, ASIA AND AFRICA WITH A RETURN INTO DERWOOD DISASTER AND THE ELDP COURSE CONCLUSION OF SUMMER -2005

  3. Amy’s response to her exhilarating trip to Eritrea as she emerges from her Orientation Week of her freshman medical school year.
  4. Jonathon Hannowell’s response to my note to him describing some of the experiences of the Eritrean mission and his reflections on what it means to be a doctor in the settings of third world medicine as in Kafka.
  5. The continuation of the Derwood cleanup and yard work, and trekking off to Annapolis for the 30th Anniversary Annapolis Ten Miler, and counseling Joe over Betty’s manipulative panic/anxiety attacks as he is planning his trip abroad.
  6. Haile Mezghebe’s response to the reading of the Eritrean narrative text and review of the pictures as the medical students’ responses have been relayed and photo print albums have been assembled.
  7. Kevin Bergman makes plans to acquire MAP packs through my license number and organize a medical mission to Ghana, from which I forward reports from Sandra Hoare.
  8. Review the numbers of Eritrean operations and patients for PFP solicitation and plans for supplies and facilities for future Eritrean missions.
  9. Mary Anne Beebe’s invitation to participate in her doctoral dissertation thesis research on “knowledge mapping” for oncologists, and my disclaimers before agreeing to participate.
  10. My Derwood domestic duties in combination with Dale Kramer’s pulling Viking refrigerator out of the alcove for cleaning, hanging the heads, and setting out the salt block and digital All About Game motion camera in the Derwood deerwoods.
