Dear Kim, Glenn, Alison, Trish, and Kuya Fred,

Greetings!

In about 3 months,more or less, we will be having our project here again!

The people here are excited to see you again, especially, those who are

waiting to have their goiters, clefts, myomas taken cared of.

AS you know, we expect all of you to come on Jan. 14, Sat. We will all take

the only flight to General Santos City early the next day by Philippine

Airlines. For those who will visiting Tboli for the first time, they will

have the chance to visit the village in the afternoon when we get there.

The rest of us, will start to do triaging for the cases that we have to

that week and preparing the operating room for surgery. Orientation follows

that evening.

"Goiterama" and "cleft-o-rama" begins on Mon to Thurs. On Friday we leave

early for Davao City by land to visit the ancestral place of Dr. Casino.

Hopefully, we can get to catch fish from their fishpond.

From Davao, we'll travel on to Malaybalay getting there later in the

evening. This will aloow those who want to climb Mt. Kitanglad to do so

the next day; the rest, can go sightsee around Bukidnon or go to Cagayan de

Oro and do whitewater rafting. Sunday is church day.

Work at Bethel starts Monday thru Thursday. The team leaves for Manila

Friday, Jan 27, from Cagayan de Oro City. We will have our team time in

Manila; this will also allow the team to do some shopping before their

departure the next day, Saturday, Jan. 28.

In summary: Jan. 14 - arrival Manila, preferably before noon.

Jan. 15 - departs for General Santos City by PAL then to Tboli

by land

Jan. 16 - "Goiterama", "cleft-o-rama" starts

Jan. 20 - travel to Davao City; fish/lunch at Dr. Casino's

fishpond

- onward travel to Malaybalay

Jan. 21 - Mt. Kitanglad climb/sightseeing around

Bukidnon/whitewater rafting, Cagayan de oro City.

Jan. 22 - church and rest day

Jan. 23 - surgery starts at Bethel Baptist Hospital

Jan. 27 - departs by PAL around noon from Cagayan de Oro City

for Manila; team time in Manila

Jan. 28 - homeward bound

Looking forward to seeing you again next year. Let's be praying for one

another and for the team and the work we will do in Tboli and in Malaybalay.
