CHRISTMAS TIME 2001
- Index to the Christmas time 2001
- Achievements of the week: Year-end Letter-’01 in the mail, big branch off
the roof, and plans being made for visit of Michael, Judy and the twins, and
my visit to Chicago and Michigan, and Florida.
- Attempting to arrange the Malawi mission on Southern Hemisphere circumnavigation
following Mindanao, Philippines.
- The forwarding of all my medical credentialing to be qualified to work
in Ethiopia!.
- The happy holidays start off on a high note, with the arrival in Derwood
of Michael, Judy, and the twins Devin Michael and Jordan Lee, ready for some
more thorough spoiling –their first visit to the Derwood cave, but not the
last, it is profoundly hoped.
- Christmas-time Chicago: a time for singing and celebrating and admiring
Van Gogh and Gaugin.
- On my second train of this trip, I had gone on Metra to “Highwood” Illinois
last night, now heading on Amtrak to Grand Rapids, a four-hour ride after
a six-hour wait.
- On the run in Jenison and Grand Rapids for the pre-holiday celebration:
in time to visit all the family except for Martheen’s, now off in Ontario.
