This is very good news
indeed!
I had lost you off the
email address map and then found the phone number I had called information to
check on did not work, so I was despairing of reaching you after many tries
when I wrote the appended note (below) to Cynthia.
I have tried for over a
year to reach Ron Landes by his email which is nonoperative, and now have tried
to reach you through the Landes BioScience phone 512/868-0868 which does not
connect.
I had an exciting new
publishing opportunity to discuss and wanted to check on the past due launch of
the prior book completed for the announcement of release at the ACS meeting in
Chicago three years ago this month.
Is there any news?

It concerns a book I had
completed summarizing my whole career in Surgical Endocrinology. It is typeset and in press ("camera
ready" is what I really mean in this era of changed technology) when the
publisher with whom it was arranged has gone bankrupt. I will attach the notes regarding the project
and its completed status, and would like to have you see what the scope of the
project might be. I had distributed
flyers at meetings with several orders, with checks attached that the publisher
returned before I knew of his status.
So, I would be delighted if you might publish this atlas of Surgical
Endocrinology as well!
