WORKING AROUND THE RECEPTION ON

 HAITI AND HEALTH”

TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON DC

OK!

I just spoke with Julie, who is leaving on Sunday, so she will not be with us.

I thought that Paul would be at the Ambassador's Reception (along with the  Soros Foundation and Gates Foundation) meeting in Port au Prince 6/26-27 to which I was invited also.  But I cannot go twice  in two weeks to Haiti when I have to pack up my house and take off for India.

I got an email (see next message) from Kim Green who would like to come here and have her father join us. I had tried to set it up for July 11, but she cannot be here earlier than the 10th and Peter Hotez is leaving for Chicago to give their Grand Rounds there departing on the afternoon of the 10th, so maybe we can spot our reception of the Greens between their arrival and Peter's departure.

I will try!

Doc,

Sounds good. Lets meet early in the Cap Building. Well guarantee ourselves a spot, plus we can talk to Paul beforehand. Things get chaotic afterward. But I dont have any other committments that day if we can all get away for a while.

Hi Dr.G,
I got this from
Bryan and thought i'd pass it on to you. Sounds like it'll be
an interesting talk. But it's right in the middle of my class and i can't miss
it 'cause there's only three people in the whole class so i think they might
miss me :)
Julie

Hey Bryan-

Did you get this invite to this event?  Thought you might be interested.  You
may want to send it on to the people who went on the trip with you, or those
thinking about going on the December trip.  I'm planning on attending at this
point.
