I think we might try for later on the 10th if that works for you and then hold any further meeting we may come to realize is needed on the 11th. Peter Hotez is going to Chicago on the afternoon of the 10th to give Grand Rounds there, and you will probably be just arriving earlier in the day, so if we spot our meeting in between, we will see if this works for each of our people here.

Things have moved forward swiftly since our GWU medical student coordinator Julie and MPH coordinator Bryan and I met with our Medical School Dean, Vice President of Health Affairs (covering the medical school as well as the school of public health) and University Provost, Skip Williams. I had copied you with some of the suggestions, but will add those to make sure you know of each to stay inside the loop.

You may also note that on the 26th- - just before both you and Paul (and- - unfortunately, for this time- - me) are supposed to be going down to PAP for the ambassador's reception at which the foundations like Soros and Gates are sending representatives. I will attach that meeting in the US Capital Building Room HC- 5 on Thursday afternoon 3:00- - 5:00 PM, as Jun- C- 8 addendum.

I trust your trip home was uneventful........as mine was a disaster! I will have to fill you in on the drama that occurred on American Airlines when we attempted to return to Miami. Oh the horror!

So I am in Miami for just a few days before I have to head back to Haiti, and would like to see if we can schedule a meeting in July. Upon looking at my calendar, July 10 or 11 would work best for me. I will also be contacting Joel McCleary and my father to see if they will be able to attend. I am planning to head back to Haiti the 14 or 15 of July, then I must be in Scotland on the 27 of July, so these days seem to fit well. I know that you are very busy, so I hope that it will work for you and Senator Frist (not sure the protocol on his name). We can plan an agenda when we confirm a date.

I also wanted to let you know how grateful I am to you for your interest in Haiti and Medishare, and the enthusiasm you share with me for that part of the world. Your efforts towards global health are more than amazing, and I can't wait to get to know you and your programs more! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
