Thanks for your comments.  Your response is the one that keeps me getting out of bed each morning!  And, yes, I meant it both ways‑‑I will take you up on the offer to go abroad to work in developing nations and also to run here at GWU!

I will talk with you further, and will also refer you to Anthony Coppolino of Operation Smile who is arranging the as yet unknown date of my return to Ethiopia and Somaliland for the Operation Smile mission which is tailor‑made for people such as your self  to begin the dreams you are weaving now.

I will help you in any way I can to get there, and you will see the experience develop before you‑‑and live into it!

Cheers!

Dr. Geelhoed‑

Hi!  My name is Amy Fiedler and I am in Dr. Hotez's Tropical Infectious Diseases class which you lectured to today.  I am the one who's a runner and stayed after to look at your pictures.

I am very interested in going on a trip with you if that is at all possible.  I have been browsing your website and think it just looks amazing.  If you could just give me some additional information about what I would do on the trip if I would go, where you are planning trips, cost, etc. that would be great.

Thank you so much for your lecture today.  It was incredibly inspiring.

‑Amy
