Subject: RE: Tur or Ibex?
Hi Glenn,
I will be out of the country till early August.
You should go on an Ibex hunt in either Kyrgyzstan or
Kazakhstan.
If you are into bird shooting then you can join me for
a couple of days of
unlimited bird shooting‑‑ big geese and
other waterfowl (major flyover to
mid east/Africa) before going after ibex.
Kyrgyzstan in not on hold.
If you have free time at end of July I have a hunt
cancellation‑‑ I think
for Tur in Azerbaijan,
7500 hunt for 55oo bucks. The
reason I mention it
is that the hunting is the best it has been in years
with big trophies and I
will be there myself.

added to the house in its Game Room‑‑be
sure to bring a camera! You may
recognize a few speicies and individuals!
I append the Directions!

Kyrgyzstan Permits on Hold
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has indicated
that they are not
issuing any permits for sheep imports from Kyrgyzstan
at this time.
This is because they have not received any information
from the
government of Kyrgyzstan on which hunters have
received the permits to
go hunting. The USFWS has approximately 20
applications from U.S.
hunters pending, but have no information from
Kyrgyzstan to base the
permits on.
SCI's Asian Contractor, Dr. Andrey Subbotin has met with
Kyrgyzstan officials to try and obtain this
information. Kyrgyzstan is
undergoing a change of government at this time. We will update our
members when information becomes available.
